REASON FOR MAINTENANCE:
The operator of MacStadium's metropolitan transport network which services MacStadium - Atlanta DataCenter 3 & DataCenter 4 will be performing a scheduled maintenance to increase capacity. The upgrade will entail rerouting our upstream carriers (Level3, NTT, XO, BBO, and others) thru alternate network paths.
EXPECTED IMPACT:
This maintenance DOES have potential to impact your services intermittently for the duration of the maintenance. The potential service impact would be a result of BGP Internet routing re-convergence while the new network path to your infrastructure here at MacStadium is advertised, and then re-discovered by the rest of the internet as a whole. This routing re-convergence can extend for several minutes at a time and cause a portion of the internet to be unable to reach your hosts while in play.
