REASON FOR MAINTENANCE:
We will be performing transport network fiber maintenance inside the Atlanta DC3 DataCenter to increase capacity and efficiency.
EXPECTED IMPACT:
This maintenance WILL impact your services intermittently for the duration of the maintenance. Activating the new 10Gb fiber links will involve IGP Layer 3 routing re-convergence which is expected to cause several momentary (a few seconds at a time) network interruptions for the majority of customers located in MacStadium - Atlanta.
As with all planned maintenance activities, there is always a small chance that the activities may not go entirely as planned. In this case, it is possible that the planned momentary network interruptions could become unplanned extended network interruptions which many last seconds or even minutes at a time.
If you experience any issues AFTER the planned maintenance interval is closed, please contact us immediately for resolution.
