MacStadium experienced a network transport outage to its Atlanta data centers on March 15, 2016 spanning from approximately 7:50AM to 10AM UTC (3:50AM to 6AM EST). Two Cisco 6500 series core switches which reside outside of, but directly service, the MacStadium customer network crashed simultaneously during the incident, requiring manual cycling to recover the switches operability.
